As a Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, our students have the opportunity to develop essential leadership skills.
Chick-Fil-A Leader Academies inspire students and positively impact communities. At Sheets Memorial Christian School, we were recently designated as a Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, and we are grateful for our students, staff, and administration who made this possible.
What is a Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy?
These schools participate in a national high school leadership program focused on inspiriting impact through action. Since the world today needs more leaders who have the power, drive, and skills to impact their local communities, Chick-Fil-A devised this program because high schools have the ability to mold these students and shape their futures for the better.
As a Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, our students are engaged in monthly Leader Labs that focus on essential leadership skills. With these skills, students who participate create and oversee student-led Community Impact Projects. These labs feature unique curriculum technology overseen by a faculty leader who helps the students gain insight and knowledge about crucial leadership principles.
The purpose of these leadership labs is to equip students with the intangible and tangible tools they need to succeed on their leadership journey. Our students have the ability to change the world, and the Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy model allows our students to put their ideas into practice to positively impact our community here in Lexington, North Carolina.
